Dr. Cheryl Polote Williamson is a nationally acclaimed multi best-selling author, Editor-in-Chief of Cheryl Magazine, award-winning filmmaker and executive producer, transformational speaker, and certified success coach. Williamson is the CEO and Founder of Williamson Media Group, LLC, and Cheryl Polote Williamson, LLC, where her knowledge, expertise, and resources connect others to their purpose. As a global leader, she has successfully ushered 470 men and women into thriving entrepreneurship.

In December 2021, Dr. Williamson received her Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy. She has also received multiple national and international media features and mentions, and several awards for her leadership capabilities to include: selection as one of Dallas Top 25 women and the honor as one of the Female Success Factor Award recipients for 2016, the 2017 and 2018 Indie Author Literary Trailblazer Award, Global Smashers Award, Who’s Who in Black Dallas Publishing, and Indie Author Legacy Award in 2017 and 2018, a 2018 African American Literary Award, a 2020 African American Literary Award for Self-Published Author of the Year Award, and a 2021 Trailblazer Award in Media.

Williamson is a highly sought-after influencer, and business leader who is also Founder and CEO of Soul Reborn, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that has supported more than 10,000 disenfranchised, under-served, and previously incarcerated women through lectures, classes, summits and conferences on leadership, entrepreneurship, money management, etiquette, storytelling, and philanthropy.

She has led many to opportunities for employment and created countless outreach and volunteer opportunities.

Serving is Cheryl Polote Williamson’s passion, but nothing comes before the love and care she gives to her husband Russ Williamson of 30 years, her three amazing children, Russ, Jr., Courtney, and Lauren, and two adorable grandbabies, Leah and Russ III.
